Adobe Flash Player For Vista 64 Bit OS

Has anybody been able to install and run Adobe Flash Player on system running Vista w/SP1 on 64 Bit OS.They do not have a version that is compatiable.Adobe keeps promising,but so far haven't delivered.Don't want to download 32 bit OS.Adobe SUXS since all new computers come with a 64 bit browser.Adobe needs to step up to the plate and do what they promised.They said that they would release a new version after the release of version 10.Another empty promise.Any suggestions since it seems that all web pages that you visit say that you need the latest Flash Player to view.Doesn't Adobe know this or they just don't care."ADOBE IS USELESS ON MY COMPUTER".Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The 32-bit version works fine

The 32-bit version works just fine, you just have to use a 32-bit browser. And there'd be little to no benefit in having a 64-bit web browser or Flash player, so aside from a "purity" standpoint, of having only 64-bit software, there's really no big hurry. Of course Adobe is working on this, as they've released a 64-bit version of Flash 10 for Linux. So clearly it's in the works, it's just not quite ready for widescale deployment.

Vista 64 bit was released Jan 2007. Adobe last updated their promise for a 64 bit Vista press release Oct 2008. It's July 2009. Something tells me that all is not as the spin team might want you to believe. If you've been holding your breath for 64 bit Flash for Vista, go ahead and breathe. And then move on 'cause the evidence would seem to indicate Adobe don't intend to deliver to their promise. Really, more than two years to build Vista support? I don't think so! And then there is the iPhone with no Flash. No, Flash as a cross-platform development environment would seem rather passe.

No, don't hold your breath any longer.
