HP Laptop - How to remove bloat or reinstall o.s

I am about to buy a new HP laptop for college. I have noticed with my sisters and my fathers that HP loads a lot of stuff onto the laptop that is intertwined throughout the O.S. What I was wondering is that I know I can use the control panel and remove programs and I know there are programs that remove those applications deeper. However I want to either completely remove this extra garbage or do a fresh reinstall.

Is there an application out there that does this? I know of PC decrapifier.

I know HP laptops do not give you a copy of the operating system but instead a "recovery" disk, of which is still not a fresh install of the O.S Vista. I am wondering is there a way to obtain a fresh disk or another way of installing a fresh copy of Vista without the added blunder, or buying another copy?

The only way to legally obtain an installable, 'clean' copy is by purchasing a retail or OEM license yourself at additional cost. Some, such as Dell and Sony, have been experimenting with offerings of bloatless installations on some custom orders, but HP has not. Thus, PCDecrapifier and CCleaner, along with manual removals, are about all you can do to remove the bloatware included in the default installation.
