Very strange indeed lol.

by Adam141435 - 3/21/09 11:02 AM

Hi I have two very strange problems.

I'm running Vista home premium on a very good computer.

This afternoon the computer was working absolutely fine. I did not install anything today nor make any changes to the computer. I am the sole administrator, other users all being limited. The only difference today was that I connected my new Blackberry to the computer (which shouldn't really be an issue).

This evening however all other user accounts have inexplicably disappeared from the log in screen, all except mine. It's like they were deleted. Theres no trace of other user accounts in the task manager nor in user accounts.

I can however locate all their files manually via my computer/users so thankfully nothing seems to be lost.... other than that there really is no evidence of the accounts ever existing!

Does anyone have any experience of this weirdness??

Problem number two is a little different and affects Explorer and firefox both. Cookies seem to magically be deleting themselves for the past week (again I've made no changes at all)...for example after logging into this forum I'd expect to get right back in on my next visit yet as soon as I close just for a sec all this info seems to disappear and I'd have to log in again...you can imagine the irritation this causes with things like youtube and myspace! Everthing else works fine.

I have run AVG and spybot and there doesn't seem to be any virus issues at all.

These problems are driving me mad, can someone please help!!
