Font problem

A few days ago I noticed that the fonts in some of the programs and internet sites have changed. In iTunes, the font of the tracks and menus are bold, seem a little bit larger, and in a different font then what it used to be (default). Also, in Steam the tabs are completely blank and titles of games (Under My Games tab, I assume.) are also missing, so if I wanted to play, say TF2, I can only go by the game icon (orange target). Also, in CCleaner, for example, some of the font is cut off because it is too big. The same can be said for other programs and some internet sites as well.
So it looks like I have a display error of some kind (the fonts are too big, bold, truncated, different, etc.) I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I go under Control Panel, then Appearance and Personalization to check the font size (DPI). It's set at default scale (96 DPI). Cleartype is also enabled. I'm using a 8800GT with the latest drivers and everything. I just don't know why the fonts in some of these programs are screwed up. The font of the OS seems to have slightly changed as well.
Is there something I'm overlooking here or is some program interferring with the fonts of other programs?
