Connection Manager has stopped working.

I have VISTA home premium 64 bit SP1 on my new PC. (home built, EVGA 780i SLI MB) I have been trying to run a printer wirelessly thru my home network(Linksys WRT54G router). I have a HP 5200 series all in one printer with a HP wireless printing upgrade kit. The set up worked flawlessly (all driver installed correctly) until I tried to print then I got the message that the Connection Manager has stopped working. When I restart the system I get the same message. The printer works fine when directly hooked up to a usb port. I also have a Lexmark X4550 wireless printer. When I try to run the software for that I get to the wireless hook up point and get the same problem Connection Manager has stopped working and then can not finish the set up. Both printers work fine (wirelessly) on my laptop running windows XP. This is what leads me to believe that it is a Vista issue. Has anyone run into or resolved this.
