Can't download from CNET

Hi there, I have a 1 year old professionally built computer (intel core 2 duo) processor, windows vista premium, 32.I use to be able to download from CNET, but lately when I try to download , it says thank you for downloading but no download starts up and I don't get the opition box to open or save download as well, I can go to the software web site from where the software comes from and can download with no problems??. I don't know if service pack 1 is a issue or not. Any ideas!! Regards Margy Jr.

I just tryied using fire fox and can get download to start,I must have a problem with Internet Explorer.Any ideas what it could be?? . thanks from Margy Jr.

I can't guess yours. I noted the allow popups from the download site. Did you allow that?

I just want to say thank you for taking your time to help me with my problem!! I have just to try again to download from CNET and I have found that I can now download using internet explorer and I haven't made any changes any settings to it???. thanka again .

I have the same problem, just a few weeks ago, everything was cool for downloads, but lately no matter what browser I use, it doesn't work. I use Vista 64bit. The only thing I can think of is a spyware program, or anti-virus program is preventing the site from downloading unto your computer. When I find out what it is, I'll let you know!
