Outlook Favorite Folders Disappear on re-launch

Shutting down my computer and/or quiting and restarting Outlook occasionally causes my favorite folders saved in the navigation pane to disappear. (This may happen every time -- I need to double check since often I just let the machine hibernate between sessions.)

Anyone have similar issues? I did see some on the WinXP forum but no solutions.

I'm running Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista (32bit).

Outlook 2007 not saving favorite folders!

So glad to know I'm not crazy. Haven't found a solution yet, but it seems this is a syndrome. I don't lose ALL of my favorites...some of them stay. But there are some that just keep disappearing.

Looking for a solution, because this is not fun.

What worked for me

WHAT WORKED FOR ME: Uncheck most (if not all) Addins. I do not know if this will work for anyone else, but it worked for me: - Go to FILE / OPTIONS / ADDINS / Manage: COM Add-ins [Go...] - Uncheck as many Add-ins as possible (I disabled everything except for one external program that I use with Outlook) Hope this helps someone else.
