UAC Question

Is there a way to disable the User Account Control warning screen for only one program? I know how to disable it completely but that's not what I want. There is one program I trust that I want to run as an administrator every time (can do this in properties) but I don't want the warning screen every single time.

It's the one feature I really hoped to see added in SP1 for Vista, but thus far it has not been added. There are third-party tools designed to reduce the tenacity of UAC, and SP1 reduces the average number of prompts from four to one, but for the time being there is no way to white-list a program.

You actually CAN disable it for one application by changing ownership of it from Admin to your user via permissions (same thing goes for program folders). Sorry for the miss info.

go to control panel, click "user account and family safety", click "user accounts", click "turn user account control on or off", uncheck and click "ok'. then go to "security", click "security", click "security center", on the left hand column click "change the way security center alerts me", click "do not notify me and don't display the icon". that ends the entire uac pop ups.
