Battery Back Up / Surge Protector

HELP, I just purchased a Sony Viao VGC-LS25E with Vista, I can't find a
Battery Back Up / Surge Protector that is compatible. I originally bought a Geek Squad brand, and even the Geek Squad was unable to install it. Does anyone know of one that is for sure compatible, or at least has an available patch?

I've got my fingers crossed - FunFun50

APC works well here...

I can't say I think much of the GeekSquad line of products, instead relying on mostly APC Back-UPS ES models for my personal electronics and haven't had a problem. APC just recently updated their PowerChute software for full Vista compatibility, so I'd give them a try.
