How to get fm radio on my iphone?

Is there any device that I can connect to the iphone that will allow the phone to be able to receive fm radio reception so I can listen to radio channels?

That iHeart radio does not have an FM tuner, it is an internet radio for stations owned by iHeart radio and not all radio stations

.....does require an iFm headset which isn't free. The application is free. Virtually all such applications, except internet radio, require wired headsets.

He asked about which *device* could be used to receive radio stations. The subsequent replies starting alluding to apps. The OP also did not limit the conversation to free devices, etc. iFM gets you real FM and not merely what streams are out there.

iPhone doesn't have a FM Tuner incorporated. I'd recommend you to buy a "Griffin iFM Radio Receiver for iPhone and iPod". It is pretty cheap on Amazon.com. I am using it atm and it does it's job great...

Do a search for "radio" in the app store and you'll find a raft of them. The one I like is TuneIn, which has most of my local radio stations- all of those that also broadcast over the web. Of course, you'll use some data when listening to any of these apps, but the sound will be near-CD quality without the reception problems of listening through an FM tuner. TuneIn also has my local AM stations. If you find a station you really like in another city, you can listen to it just as easily. Also, you can listen by genres (news, talk, sports, etc.)
This is as close as you're going to get to an FM tuner for your iPhone without a third-party add-on device.
