My ipad does no longer give me my e mail.

Last week, without provocation my ipad 3 does no longer accept my yahoo password. I am using the same password on my computer and it works fine. I have been talking to Apple but they seem at a loss. I restarted my ipad twice already- lost lots of good stuff (that's ok). but I just cannot get my e mail. I removed yahoo and installed hotmail and even though I wrote down my password it will not accept it either. What a bummer, it drives me bunkers. Any solutions? Thanks much, Ruth

go through the Lost Password procedure

and regain the use of Yahoo mail again.

Then change the Yahoo password on your computer and you are back in business

Apple doesn't maintain Yahoo email and would not be the one to contact in that type of situation. Have you tried to delete and re-install the Yahoo email account from the iPad ?? You should contact Yahoo for a solution if that doesn't work.
