Can anyone pl. give their take on the camera on the ipod shuffle 4G. I know it is less than 1MP , but what are the photos like? Is it worth the investment? Thanks. Also, pl. compare quality in low light conditions and ones taken on cloudy days as well.

Nothing special, get a basic point and shoot

If looking for a decent camera, especially anything remotely able to function halfway decent in low light conditions, get a basic point and shoot digital. Much better.
