Ipad virus/popup

I have an Ipad 2. About a month ago while surfing the web I was redirected to a porn pay site called "badoink" wanting me to download a pay app. I do not think I clicked on any links and do not surf porn. It randomly redirects me from the page I want to go to the site, and there is no back button. Seems to happen within 20 seconds of opening new page. How do I get rid of this virus? I check most of the settings and usual places, no luck.

although it "could" be some form of malware that has not been seen yet.

Does this happen when you are using your own wireless network, when you are using a public hotspot or when you are using Cellular Data?

The Ipad has never been outside of my house, never on any public WiFi. I cleared the cashe and reset the network settings as one of the first troubleshooting exercises. Still a problem

The design of the web+internet. It's not a sign of an infection but as you know (you will know as you learn more?) that many users will think it's an infection.

That may be good news for companies that do support for money. It doesn't mean they can fix the web but it does mean they will be in business for a very long time.
