....cannot be tracked like a cell phone. You probably encountered a wifi, location-based message. Leaving wifi off will prevent such popups on your device. Your best bet is to never respond to unknown messages from someone you don't know. "An ounce of prevention ........"

Some may write that's old news but 7 years later it's still very effective and works like a charm.
