iPad3 keyboard issues

2 questions. First, through some action with my fingers on the keyboard, I changed my keyboard to a split keyboard. I know you can set this in the settings area but how did I do this with my fingers. And second, can I change the location of the split keyboard on the screen? It would be great if it were at the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

Check out this QVC forum thread for Tips & Tricks. It's long but I think one of the early posts is about the split keyboard.

I just tried on my iPad2. When the keyboard is displayed you can take 2 fingers and spread it apart and do the reverse.
