Can't get cnet full site on my iPhone4s

I know other threads have been created on this subject (threads that's since been closed) but none of them solved the problem. Despite choosing the "switch to desktop view" option repeatedly, I still can't get the full site view on my phone. Any suggestions?

(NT) AFAIK, you have to use the mobile version of the site.

If that's the case then why does the mobile site even offer the option of switching to the full site? What sense does that make if not everyone can do it?

I've pondered such things in my own apps. I have an expert mode that allows things and combinations that don't work. It appears that those few users that ask me about my expert mode want some intermediate mode that only allows what can work rather than take a chance.

Would you rather this option go away?

Hi there,

I'm a product manager assigned to m.cnet.com. We are aware of the "desktop view" link not working on m.cnet.com at the moment and are currently working on the issue.

If you go to any other m.cnet.com page that is not the Front Door (m.cnet.com) does the "desktop view" link not work for you as well? I believe that functionality IS working.

Also, because the desktop view link is cookie based, those surfing in "private mode" will not be able to go to the desktop site on a mobile device at the moment.
