iPhone 3 Mic Problem

I was facing in problem with my iPhone 3 since last week.

During my call, the receiver unable to hear my voice. I initially thought this could be a mic problem and i replaced it with a new one.

It lasted for a night and since the next day it started giving a bit noise during a call conversation. Also, the receiver hearing a echo of his own voice. Plus, the issue is not stable as in sometime it works and sometimes not.

Please suggest what could be the problem?
