iPhones, iPods, and iPads forum: Download iPhone 4 Manual to PC

I've been to this link many times. I clicked on it again. Basically nothing happens for about two minutes and then an error appears stating that the file was damaged and couldn't be repaired. The only way I can explain it is that you need to download it with an iphone or it won't happen. That's been my experience. It seems weird to me but there you go. Thanks for the idea though. GL

I clicked on the link and it loaded an PDF file which I saved to the desktop on my PC.
Worked fine.

Well that's interesting. I routinely download and open .pdf files. This particular one is the only one that I've ever been unable to download and open and I've tried on multiple occasions and from multiple links. I have no clue why this might be. GL

I have had the same problem. Been trying to download the manual for three days and keep getting "damaged file..." error. Called Apple and they said temporary problem and it'd be fixed in a day......uh, three days later....not fixed yet.

Tried your suggestion but wasn't able to download the file.

In Firefox I clicked the 5th item in the list and it opened immediately as a web page PDF file.

I returned to that list, right clicked the link, selected "Save Link as", selected Desktop and the PDF file downloaded to my Desktop in just a couple of seconds.

I'm reading it now.
