iPod Touch will not show video on TV

I have attached my iPod Touch (3.1.3) to a Sony Wega hdtv using the apple component video connectors. I only get sound on the tv, no picture. The picture shows on the iPod while it is connected to the tv.

Any ideas?

With all the DRM (see google) it is possible that some content may not play out of this device. The days of popping a VHS in and pressing play look more reliable now but here is what's next.

Go to the Apple Store and have them show you it working.
