Ipod 3rd gen and worst customer service I have ever had!

I am having issue with my ipod 3rd gen within 30days of purchase. Go back to store it was bought from and am told its opened they can not take it back and I have to go to apple store.
So we go to the apple store and its a 3 HOUR WAIT or make an appointment. At my appointment (2nd trip to this damn store) I am told all they can do is give me an exchange, I want a refund but have to settle for exchange which i have to come back for. 3rd trip to this store get my exchanged ipod which seem to be refurbished ipod for my new one? and it fails within 2 days!!!!!!
Now I have to go back for a 4th time!!!!!!!!!!
BUY ANYTHING BUT APPLE YOU'LL PAY LESS AND BE HAPPIER!!!
