Download.com site feedback forum: CNET stealthily installs Pokki

Which download does this? I know if I don't take care with the questions a lot of addons are added.

Moreover it is full of glitches and other annoyances:

1. I have tried to turn off notification of updates on downloaded items. It keeps turning back on.
2. I do not seem to be able to do anything but use the CNET downloader even though I log in and choose direct download.
3. The CNET downloader downloads other useless-ware; sometimes you can opt out, but most times you cannot (e.g. Wajan). The Window this junk-ware is shown in only shows part of the information about the infestation-ware that is being downloaded as part of the process of what you want. I have to go through afterwards and uninstall this. Whenever possible I am now going to the software source and downloading from there rather than using CNET. The stuff that gets installed without my wanting it is really just a virus.
4. The site keeps forgetting that I am logged in and I have to re-login (but am beginning to wonder why as it is of no benefit).
5. Tried to go to the link FAQ on the downloader and was told to login ... to what?

ZDNet became unworkable by failing to have a powerful search; CNET has followed in their path.
