CNET repacking downloads to include adware, why?

I was sent an email from CNET today, with this quote in it:

"All products on CNET Downloads are downloaded, installed and scanned for adware, spyware and viruses before being published in our library."

You should append to that:

"All products are then repackaged to include adware, but only adware we like and that makes money for us. We know you don't want adware, but we are not interested in what the consumer wants, we want money. We're greedy, and we refuse to listen to reason."
