please address the issue I raised so we can have the best software easily listed and ranked in real time. Cnet seems to have confusing rankings where 5* conflicts with absolute ranks and dates of old reviews suggest that they have not been reranked for recent reviews.

confusing cnet ONLY 5*ranking vs Product ranking: #13 in Firewall Software
surely it should be no 1 then?

this is an example.

also confusing is PCMag's antivirus round up which suggests zonealarm free is best but cnet editors do not rate it.
