What was the exact message?

What is this Rapport program, and where did you download it from?

I don't remember the exact message but it stated that CNET he identified a problem with this program (rapport) and flash media and some other programs and is working on a solution to fix it. I downloaded it from bank of America online banking and also founda it again on the CNET website for downloading

If so, I note that other reviewers on that Download.com page were less than enthusiastic about it.

So what can CNET do to fix my computer

that you downloaded this and installed it, from your banking web site.

What is the problem you are having? Has it uninstalled?

1. If you downloaded it from your banking website, why don't you ask your bank in stead of CNET?
2. This isn't a program from CNET. CNET only distributes it. The maker is http://www.trusteer.com/ Their site has a "support" and a "contact" on the top of the page. What do they say about the problems with their program?
3. It seems unlikely that a program that's not from CNET gives a message mentioning CNET at uninstall. In fact, it seems unlikely that any program gives a message when uninstalling; I've never seen that.
4. All you told "There is a problem with rapport and flash". And then you continue with "computer messed up and needs fixing". What's the relation between those 2 sentences? What's messed up? What needs to be fixed?

I second every negative point thats been said about this program. It does put up multiple communications screens at time of uninstall and even then, I have gone through the unistall process over 7 times now and each time it not only fails, it takes down my computer with it. During unistalll it actually reinstalls. Like this other frustrated person, I am at aloss to describe it becuase its creating so many problems its too much to list! I have had to hard restart 3 times, which i typically NEVER do, and have even seen the blue screen of death attempting to get rid of this. I have tried to unistall in safe mode, safe mode with networking and even dis a system restore to the date before I ever installed this program. Do you know what happened? It was still there! only now it showed an install date that was 6 weeks earlier than I had initially had?!?! How does a program get around somethign as solid as system restore? This is a HIDEOUS program and I would reccomend that no one install and that Cnet warn, rather than offer it. I tried contacting their so called 24/7 customer service before posting these complaining tones (and they have not responded to any calls, any call back requests through their website, any tickets Ive submitted and even duped me when I called them directly! Their 24/7 chat brings up a temporarily unavailable message every time. This company is bogus and ought to be exposed for what it really is!
