I was sent the Cnet tracker email for Smart Defrag. When I downloaded Smart Defrag for some unknown reason Iobit toolbar installed with it. I didn't install it from the blue.
When I realized the toolbar was there, I went to Control Panel and uninstalled Smart defrag, but the Iobit was still there. I went to their utility button and clicked uninstall, but it was still there. I went to Firefox (which is the browser it attached to) > tools> add-ons and tried to uninstall.
The IOBIT toolbar is still there; not the whole toolbar, but "some of the toolbar".
This is a dangerous download and I will never again update my software from the CNET site again. I will go direct to the software site.
