Audio repeats last frames of video

This has to be some kind of setting or something. When I use my video player(s) umplayer and smplayer in this case, I get this odd repeat at the very end of the file. It's more annoying then anything else but I don't remember having this happen 2 or 3 years ago. I don't even think WMP does this. It has to be some kind of audio codec/setting. And here is something else I noticed. I am starting to hear this on the radio. If an ad says something like "call now" at the end, it will say, "call nownow" Just that fast. That is how it sounds on mine. Anyone know what this is and how I can fix it on my system?? I'll let the radio people take care of this themselves if they want to. happy

If WMP is fine, ask the author?

If WMP and VLC PLAYER is fine, ask the author of the player as well as the CODEC if they have a setting or new version.

There are plenty of cranky/bad video players. My fix? Use ones that wrok. (yes I wrote wrok!)
