What can anyone tell me about VideoPad Video Editor?

I'm trying to create a home business with $0 funds. I'm seeking freeware (for now) like Movie Maker with 2 audio tracks.

I know VideoPad has multiple audio tracks (at least the 2 I need), but does it edit more than just video clips? My videos are mostly "still shots" (JPEG) with subtitles and audio.

And is VideoPad software still free?
