I made a copies of a Blu-ray Discs I own (in MP4 format) for my computer. I then used MetaX, a metadata editor, to add cover art to the videos, which looked amazing.
However, after a few days of the files just sitting in Windows Explorer, the cover art disappears for no apparent reason, reverting to the default video thumbnail with the film strip, the hot air balloons, and the music note (I'm on Windows 7). All I have to do to fix this is send the files to the recycle bin and then restore them. This causes their cover art to "magically" return. This is more of an annoyance rather than an actual problem, but I would still like to know how to fix it as sending videos that took three hours to encode to the recycle bin repeatedly makes me nervous! ![]()
