Hi there!
How do I convert a music file that is a FLAC file, to play in itunes?
It shows in my itunes list, but not in my itunes, when I actually open itunes.
what do I need to do?

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I actually did see that info on "simplehelp", but also read about "audacity.com".

<div>My system is Windows Vista Home Premium. I have itunes.
I have no idea where to look for "Winamp", which is mentioned in the "simplehelp" piece. That piece seems really complicated!

Anyway, I would really appreciate any help you may offer!

In order to import FLAC to iTunes, import FLAC to iTunes 10.4.1/iTunes10.6, iTunes Match, and stream FLAC to iCloud, a recommended solution is to convert FLAC to Apple friendly audio formats so that you can play FLAC with iTunes, iPad, the new iPad 3, iPhone and iPod, etc

In order to import FLAC to iTunes, we will need to convert FLAC to Apple friendly audio formats.

If you care the quality of the output audio, converting FLAC to Apple Lossless audio is recommended.
If you do not care about the quality of the music, you can convert FLAC to MP3, a versatile audio format across system and devices then import the converted FLAC files to iTunes.
