Does anybody ever receive rebates?

Has anybody ever received a rebate fromTiger Direct/Comp Usa?
I don't think they honor any rebates. Over time I am owed over $80 in rebates on memory, a video card and a monitor. All bought with the idea of getting rebates on these items. I downloaded and filled out the forms. Mailed everything that was required before the post-marked by date. Yet have NEVER received even one rebate.
None of the web sites from the manufactures of these items offered any help. Complaints to Tiger Direct/Comp USA go unanswered.
So I guess my point is: Buyer beware when it comes to rebates.
I for one now NEVER buy anything from this store that has a rebate attached to it.

I'd guess I've received (maybe) 50-75% of those submitted

and you're right about the lack of help when checking their status. I can tell you also from experience that rebate offers very often precede price cuts anyway. I believe manufacturer's might just offer rebates just before they lower prices in order to squeeze the last dollar they can with the higher price. A little patience often pays off. Try looking at rebate offers for items you're not terribly interested in and then checking the prices again after the rebate offer expires.

Yes,you eventually get reb but u have to stay on top of them

Photocopy EVERYTHING that you send them, register it online with your e-mail. 90% of time you have to call them in 6-9 weeks and push them. They are depending on no follow through. Check comes quickly after that.
