Troubles with Bluetooth- is Geek Squad the answer?

I have been to Manage Connections -> Bluetooth Options -> Press the menu key and select Options. Then change the Discoverable setting to Yes but it still doesn't work!!

I can pair devices but cannot receive or send files.

I was told to go to Geek Squad as they are experts at fixing technology but I have herd they charge a fortune. Anyone had this experience?

Many devices do not support file send or receive over BlueTooth. Sure you could spend your coin there but if this is the usual, it's just something that isn't in the device. Most cell phones implement the audio but little else.
