I have recently travelled overseas with my BB Bold. I turned off wifi and email synching. I did not use the internet while away. I only used the phone for phone calls and text messaging yet I have a bill for constant (every few minutes and sometimes more frequently) connecting to the OS networks. On the bill it says that this is "calls made OS - data". For the number dialled it says either "blackberry.net" or "telstra.wap". (Telstra is our domestic provider). Does anyone understand what this is? I am waiting for a response from my provider. I rang Telstra before leaving to ensure that I would not have any unexpected bills and to make sure that I had taken all precautions, but clearly did not receive all the advice I should have. Phones are so complicated now, that most people (myself included) do not understand how they work and I have no idea why this has occurred. Any advice greatly appreciated.
