Yes, hold this shift buttom while using the track ball to hilight all the messages. Then press the track ball to get the menu and select delet.

If you really want to erase everything, go to very top (current date) by scrolling all the way up or simply by hitting 'T' for top. Then hit the menu button (dots) and choose 'Delete Prior.' Of course, you can also pick another date further down so you can keep today's email handy.

Thanks to SusieQ for the trick (new to me). I need that sometimes to delete some, but not all.

Dear Folks ! my Device BB St2 9550

I got My Emails configured on my device by a friend, and after updating the Device I got a message to reconfigure the email setup which i did but instead of Configuring the actual (service provider plan username & password) i configured on of the (3- Yahoo, hotmail & gmail ) email accounts username and passowrd.

Now I can only receive Emails on that particular account (yahoo) but neither I can send emails from the yahoo account nor i have the other 2 (hotmail & gmail accounts) .

The service provider has tried to hel me but it hasnt helped they have told me its the device you have to re-configure. I have tried my best but couldnt.

Should I change software at present I have version 5.0.713 (bundle 1206 platform 4.2.0.323) but my service provider has version 4.7.

but initially the device was working properly with emails & browsing until i messed up.

Folks please help me, once i reconfigure it will work as earlier.

Its like if someone buys a used BB then how can that person configure the email account set up.

I mean the previous owner would have been using the email but how can the new user do it. ( the new user being the first time bb user.)
