LG NetCast Connection

I am considering buying a LG HDTV with NetCast. Does anyone know if there is a way to feed the TV's NETWORK port with a wireless signal or must I run a CAT5 cable from my Verizon FIOS multi-port router to the TV.

Running a cable from by existing router to the TV's proposed location is not going to be an easy task. Is there a device I can buy that will pick up my wireless signal and permit me to run a short CAT5 from that device to he TV.

I use a bridge. Now beware that I am somewhat adept at networking so one bridge looks like the next to me. But I did like my WGPS606 so much that I bought a second one. For 25 bucks refurb it's primary use is for the XBOX 360 and then other things.

Here's what I see in the spec.

The 5300 do not have built-in streaming at all. The 5400 have it but it did not mention "netcast". Will it be supported with firmware update? I have no idea. Yahoo, Netflix, etc. are in there.

I use the broadband/DLNA adaptor

We just purchased our LG 32" LED TV with Netcast. We also bought the wireless broadband/DLNA adaptor, AN-WF100 wi-fi Dongle.

We have Comcast high speed internet and Netgear's N600 wireless dual band gigabit router. The router is in the den in front of the house and the TV is in the bdrm at the back. So far, the Netcast has worked great with this configuration. (The Aspire R1700 sitting right next to the TV gets a puny signal.) When we initially launched Netcast it immediately did 2 software updates. When we entered the Vudu application, it did a one minute network test and recommended HDX quality (I think that's the 1080 resolution.

I would also inquire as to the ability of the LG to receive at least Dolby 5.1 from the streaming services, if not the sound tracks will default to stereo.
