What happened to the bloody direct downloads

I think everyone knows now that the Cnet download manager is really adware. Ironic from a site that brags about the integrity of it's downloads. We used to have a direct download link on most software. Where is it CNET? Everybody hates you now. When are you going to pull your head out of your posterior and stop trying to infect our PC's with your stinking adware. Until you do, CNET is dead to me.
