Blekko....why??

I just spent 2 hours deleting Blekko from my web browsers. I had to go in and edit my registry. Why would you guys allow such an insidious program to accompany an otherwise legitimate download? I am no longer going to be coming to cnet for my downloads--which is sad, because you guys have been a trusted authority for over 10 years for me.
