Flight Simulator Softwares : are they not banned?

I came across this http://techstuff.wikidot.com/flightsimulator site and when reading it thought to myself that such were the causes of 9/11 attack and the Government may have passed some kind of resolution to minimize risks of similar attacks. I heard on CNN some discussion those days on this topic and some were saying free information on the internet needs to be monitored or limited. Is there any law on this?

No, we Americans generally don't believe in banning tools, and software squarely falls into that catagory. Our laws are basically focused on a defendant's intention.
