CNET TV Tech weekly Tivocast cancelled?

It looks like this has been canceled, as the ep w/ their holiday wish lists concluded with host Molly Wood indicating that she hopes they can keep in touch and find a new venue for getting the show to people...and then thanked all the Tivo people for watching...

I was always happy when I saw a new episode in my Tivo Now Playing list. I was bummed when I watched one the other night and Molly Wood said it would be the last one.
Even my wife, liked the CNET show via Tivo. She especially liked Brian Tong's reviews.
I loved to watch, to get to know all the new products and see what's good and what products not to waste my time with. I liked watching all the cast Molly, Tom, Brain C., Brain T, ect... you get the idea.

***I did catch that Molly mentioned if you have a series 3 Tivo (which I do) you can "subscribe" to CNET. I've been searching around on how/what she was talking about, but it's not clear to me.... Can anyone hear help out ???

I just joined this forum to find out how to get back my very missed CNET TV TECH weekly Tivocast.
Man I loved that show. Only TiVoCast I really watch regularly.

How to find CNET on your Tivo

From the TiVo main menu select Video on Demand.

From the VOD Menu select Web video

Then scroll, scroll, scroll until you find the show you are looking for. There really are tons of content to chose from.

One thing I have found really anoying about podcasts on the TiVo is they tend to be a day or two behind the direct feed you might get on your PC.

There is a more complex method using an RSS reader and TiVo Desktop to get around this, but sounded like you are looking for the easier path.

Got Podcasts but not TV TECH weekly show

But I was hoping to try to get something like the CNET TV TECH weekly show. I was able to find out how to do a Season Pass to "All CNET HD Video Podcasts" - 2 min individual product review pod casts.
1. Log in to your account on TiVo.com
2. Go to http://www3.tivo.com/tivo-tco/cds/in...ivo:mx.8820681 and set the "Season pass" from there.

I guess this is better than nothing - I can get a bit of my tech fix this way - but I oh so miss the show, with everything put together- prize fights, car reviews, what's new, the CES show reviews, the little skits and humor of the whole cast on one show to watch on my large screen TV/Tivo when I want....

Yet another knife in the back of Tivo Series 2 users

I saw this the other day as well. Really urked me when she said Series 3 people could subscribe.

It's amazing these days how many times you see Tivo talking about some great feature only to find out that Series 2 people are left out in the cold.

The Series 2 has been obsolete since 2006. I guess they figure that non-Series 3 owners are not exactly the early-adopting demographic that CNET is looking for.
