Will all non-sheilded electronics in danger?...

With EMP blasters like those in the articles below, are we going to have to wallpaper our homes with EMP resistant stuff to ward off techno-burglars? And what about our cars, offices, etc?

Old Diesel

Nothing like Yestertech. My old diesel would shrug off that thing. My glowplug controlers would have to be converted to manual, but that's it for "EMP" proofing. If my radio dies, I can live with that on an exodus from Dodge.

LOI, oddly enough wrapping everything in tinfoil may really work.

I would think this would make a lot... and I mean a lot of noise. It may not be practical for a would be thief. It would also take a lot of energy to do it.

As far as shielding. Most system are shielded. If they dont have the window on the case that is.
