Buzz Out Loud Lounge forum: Microsoft Hotmail saved messages gone

I noticed a person posted to the Microsoft Windows Live message (hotmail) blog that all their saved Hotmail messages were suddenly gone. So I checked my Hotmail saved emails and sure enough all my recent Hotmail (Windows live messenger) email saves were gone. All my saved Hotmail (less than 500 kb total but they were important) saved to my Save folder since January 09 were gone, and several older messages as well.
I know Microsoft informed people they were ending web portions of Windows live to a non microsoft site. But Microsoft said nothing about ending Hotmail email. It appears what may be happening since I have had my hotmail for several years, that microsoft deleted or removed Hotmail email Saved messages, along with removing web portions of Live messenger. In other words, Microsoft deleted "email links" connected to Windows Live messenger. When you go to the Hotmail or Live Messenger as it is now know, Microsoft states they no longer support web portions of Live Messenger. Microsoft never sent email stating they were ending Hotmail email accounts or stored messages in existing hotmail accounts or provided a means to move them to a new storage location.
