Buzz Out Loud Lounge forum: Does anybody know how Jott works?

They have monkey's with robotic arms and laser's attached to their heads transcribing the Jott's into messages. Duh!

I think it's just simply text to speech technology, I first used it like 6 months or so ago, and it was very very slow in transcribing, now it seems like it is much faster and more accurate. You can go in and rate the correctness of jotts and I think that helps the technology get better.

I'm guessing thats as detailed as you can get?

I'm interested in how you combine the humans with the technology, ie: do the people transcribe things that confuse the computer, or do they proof all the jotts, etc

Well I can't give away all of our secrets So yes, that is as specific as I get.

I can help you out with your questions though (as I am indeed a Jott employee)... At the moment, there is no way to call in and listen to Jotts you have sent yourself, only Jotts other people have sent you. You can call 866-JOTT-BOX to hear these messages. The pin number is really just for extra security. If you enable a pin, you will be required to enter it every time you call Jott. Hope this helps!
