I think it is just playful banter really, whats wrong with the hosts having slightly different stances on things?

I'm a Political Science major, and I enjoy hearing them argue, it livens up the show, and allows me to get a handle on more than one aspect of the discussion.

In other news.. where is Monday's show? Was it a holiday or something?

they're ready and *competent* in defending. The times when it seems like they're snapping on each other - I don't think they take it personally. I mean, I have strongly different opinions with my best friends and otherwise give them a hard time on occasion, but that doesn't take away my respect for them.

I gotta say that I really appreciate Tom for being able to argue both (or more) sides of an issue while still saying where he (presently) stands on the topic. Not that M or V don't do that from time to time, but Tom just does that with some cleverness and respect that I don't think I've heard on many podcasts or other journalistic efforts. Too bad really, the likes of E.R.Murrow and his boys have been pushed to the wayside in mainstream journalism.

I think it would be beneficial to take up the same behavior in these forums - to not take things personally or project arguments onto others in that way. Yes we may rant about things, but it doesn't mean anyone of us are to take it personally. Having personal reaction is natural, but I'd recommend not *taking* the comment especially seriously.
I like this community - quirks and all.
