Tom, DRM doesnt help!

In reference to the show on Monday, 11/13, you said that DRM allows Apple to know you bought a few tracks and then offer a discounted full album. Dude, DRM has NOTHING to do with this. Apple keeps a list for accounting purposes and for paying royalties. That's all they need, a list, so they can give you a discount. You could get the discount when logging in from a different machine which doesnt even have the DRM-crippled tracks on it.
All together now, DRM bad, Bacon good, Tom a misguided optimist.
