I bet your going to guess that i think it's too expensive. I argue that if it sounds as good as they say, that it's priced correctly. In theory it's replacing your amplifier and upper-mid rage quality speakers. We'll have to see if it sound that good in real life. For one thing right and left channels should be separated more, but that's for another day.
What I was hoping for (and the only thing that would make this different than existing iPod speakers aside from sound quality) is built in Wi-Fi. You can already buy a Airport Express and stream music via an audio out on the Airport. But it is a waste to have to buy an Airport Express too. And the best part of having it built in is that you could power the Wi-Fi from the batteries, so you can take it in your back yard and listen to music from your computer.
Oh and this may be overkill, but it would be awesome if your iPod could sync with your mac over the WiFi when you plug it into the Hi-Fi. One place to dock it, and that's it!
