free tivo box...

i bought a 40 hr tivo box back in december for 165 with a 150 rebate, so paid net about 15. btw, the media center features are pretty cool, but need some work.

Doesn't make sense....

In return for paying more in monthly fees you get a free Tivo box. Sorry mate there is nuthin here that computes to free.

Perhaps retry with pay more in monthly fees to cover the cost and Tivo will give you a DVR to use at no charge (I think mimimum length of service applies) The math I did showed you break even at 11 months after that you are paying more overall. Look closely it ain't such a good deal.
