If Windows Vista is going to be as good as it is then surely bundled systems with vista on won't come cheap i mean all the graphics power must add to this even more

7 different versions??

Thats' just dumb. Why is Microsoft making SO many different iterations of Vista? Is there REALLY a need for so many different versions? Things were bad enough when they had 4 different versions of Windows 2000 ... *sigh*

Let's see:

Windows XP Starter
Windows XP Home
Windows XP Home/Pro N (EU versions)
Windows XP Professional
Windows XP Professional x64
Windows XP Media Center Edition
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition

Like XP, some of the Vista editions will be OEM only.

And I totally agree ... Microsoft issues too many editions of Windows to track.

for pointing that out. I had forgotten the many iterations of Windows XP too. Why can't they just make a "server" edition and a "client" edition?
