I'm not sure what it was called, but I once had a gizmo that was kind of like a hybrid of one of those gaming keypads and a mouse.
It was designed to be used with the left hand, slid around on top of a base plate (the motion of which was mapped to character movement in most games or map movement in RTS games), and had shifter buttons for the thumb which would allow different sets of commands to be used with ease.
I don't suppose anyone has any clue what the heck this was called? Or know of any devices of a similar design?
I lost it and can't find it or the driver, so I have no clue what it was called, and am trying to either find it or find a replacement as I suspect it could just give me an edge...
