To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to do this presently. Unless you have a model with a HDD and are willing to remove the HDD to be put in your computer. Then with the help of a special program, you can read the drive and put things on it. This will void your warranty and you could break something if you don't know what you're doing though.

Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for the first full blown modchip for the Xbox 360. No idea when it will be out... Could be days, could be months, could even be years. It will likely come out at some point, and once people are able to run unsigned code on the console, you have a good chance at being able to use flash drives.

Until you either get Xbox Live or someone cracks the console for chipping, sorry to say, but you wasted your money on that drive.

Until Halo 3 comes out, or someone creates a full fledged modchip and Xbox Media Center is ported, the Xbox 360 isn't even on my radar. I can't tell you about the specifics, but feel free to give it a shot. Worst case scenario, you wind up with a coaster.

360 will rip your music i put some cds on my hard drive. When your playing a 360 game you can access the mini dashboard and play music directly from that. you'll be able to hear the music and the game and you can change the volume of the music

I have the elite model. Plug the flash drive into one of the front usb ports. then go to the menu by pressing the "x" on the controller. Go over to media and select "select music" scroll to the one "portable device" and it should be there.
