I have been running a small business on ebay (across several different ebay ids) selling watches and jewellery, for several years now. I recently started using the Ebid selling platform and now have purchased a facebook store not up and running yet) and am planning also to start up a separate retail website which I hope to start selling through justbefore Christmas.
The only problem is, that I don't have much pc knowledge, only enough to have got me through so far.
I have a lot of lines of stock....and have it well organized in my home, and to keep control of what I have coming in and out, I have lists stuck on the walls of my office. I add in what I have with tiny thumbprint photos and marking the lists with lines until I'm near to selling out of a particular line. This is the way I can tell how many of an item I have and how many sold, etc. I use a simple template on word to create invoices, and I have certainly no idea how to use sprad sheets ( they absolutely baffle me)
Now that I am planning to expand, I am looking to find a simple software solution (something I can get for freeor something that is an affordable one off payment) whic will help me know what id coming in, what I have in stock at any given time, and something that can update (either automatically or manually) with whats gone out.
I have tried to research this online, but am baffled by the answers that people give in pc language that I do not understand.
I would appreciate any kind of help but please please make it simple.
