What data backup software are other businesses using? Do you use cloud? Do you trust cloud?

Data Backup Software

Try Acronis True Image for general PC backup. I've been using it for more than 5 years now and it always restore my PC back to normal.

If you have an internet business hosted on some remote web host, try SyncBACKse by 2BrightSparks. It works automatically and copies your html files periodically. It won't backup your databases, as you'll need to do that manually from your web host, but for most other files, it will do just fine.

While there can be advantages and disadvantages to a cloud solution, having an offsite automatic backup is essential to protect against fire, theft, etc. Not knowing the specifics of your network, I would recommend http://www.onyxsync.com since they support virtually every platform and have very low prices.

Cloud backup

Cloud backup is safer in my opinion, that you'll know that
your data are securely stored and it won't get lost or destroyed in case of any
disasters. I've been looking for an affordable online backup, tell I recently stumbled
upon Timeline Cloud, currently I am using it in my company so far it is going
well you can check it: http://www.timelinecloud.com/

Offsite backup is good for business solutions, although I find it generally unnecessary. You can utilize external drives for routine backup, or go with a RAID configuration so that your system does the work for you as you work.

Either of those you're considering are decent alternatives. If I'm not mistaken, I think some ISP's offer backup plans as well, such as Verizon.
